Our Organization
The Square PHX is a 501c-3 nonprofit organization, located at Heritage and Science Park in downtown Phoenix, Arizona. We operate and maintain Rosson House Museum, the Visitor Center and Museum Store, the Archive at Stevens House, and our office at the Duplex, and our organization manages the other buildings at the park. We are dedicated to preserving and sharing the stories, collection, buildings and grounds of Phoenix’s historic block 14, serving as a relevant, engaging, and inclusive community resource and as a tangible connection to our diverse local history.
Heritage and Science Park
Heritage and Science Park is a small, City of Phoenix public park located in the heart of downtown Phoenix, Arizona. It consists of ten historic structures that are over a century old, an event pavilion built in 1980, and beautiful lawn and garden areas.
The area within the park is operated jointly by our organization, The Square PHX, and the City of Phoenix Parks and Recreation Department. It is owned by the City of Phoenix.
Rosson House Museum
The Museum is a fully-restored 1895 Queen Anne Victorian house museum dedicated to interpreting and sharing local history. The Rosson House is only accessible through guided tours. All regular tours last approximately 60 minutes. Tours of the house include all living areas and offer visitors a glimpse into the lives of the people who have lived at the home over the years and the history of our area.

- Mon - Wed: Closed
- Thu - Sat: 10 AM, 11 AM, 12 PM, 1 PM, 2 PM, & 3 PM
- Sun: 12 PM, 1 PM, 2 PM, & 3 PM
- Holiday Closures: The Museum is closed on New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
Tickets for Museum tours can be purchased online in advance or in person.
